Keating Chambers enhances international offering

As a senior advocate, Singh’s experience extends to arbitrations governed by arbitral institutions in India, England, France, Singapore, and Japan.

Keating Chambers has appointed Ratan K. Singh as an international member of chambers in a bid to enhance its international offering and global services.

Singh joined the Indian Bar in 1996 and is a designated senior advocate. He practices primarily out of New Delhi and has a heavyweight practice in India and internationally, representing clients in high value construction, engineering, infrastructure, energy, mining, general commercial and civil disputes. 

As counsel, his advocacy experience includes a number of reported cases of the Supreme Court and various High Courts. He has expertise in a variety of sectors, including mining, power plants, steel plants, highways, buildings, hotels, power transmission and joint ventures.

Additionally, Singh has reportedly developed a practice as a “leading” arbitrator and has received numerous appointments as presiding arbitrator, co-arbitrator and sole arbitrator. His experience extends to arbitrations governed by arbitral institutions in India, Japan, Singapore, France and England.

Additionally, Singh serves as both founder and chairman of the India branch of the Society of Construction Law, and director of the India branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Meanwhile, Singh has five international fellowships under his belt, including with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and UK and International Academies of Construction Lawyers.
