Pinsent Masons has announced it has been appointed to the American International Group’s (AIG) UK and EMEA corporate legal panels, with a broad remit to provide advice on a full range of legal services.
The insurance giant is a multinational finance and insurance organisation operating in more than 80 countries and jurisdictions.
Pinsent Masons has been appointed to AIG’s panels in the UK and Germany but it may also reportedly advise the organisation’s global entities.
From the outset, the firm will provide a “broad spectrum” of services spanning technology, data privacy and cyber security, insurance regulation and corporate insurance.
Ruby Khnom, technology partner at Pinsent Masons, said: “We are proud to announce our appointment to AIG’s legal panels. The insurance market is going through an exciting transition as organisations strive to understand the true impact of new technologies and how to unlock the value of data.
“We are looking forward to working in partnership with AIG to support them on their technology transformation journey and help them capitalise on new and exciting opportunities.”
