Ashurst appoints co-division head of Ashurst ADVANCE

Goodier specialises in delivering innovative and technology-enabled legal solutions for clients and is a ‘key driver’ of the firm’s NewLaw transformation

Global law firm Ashurst has appointed partner Hilary Goodier as co-division head of Ashurst Advance, the firm’s global NewLaw division.

Goodier will join Chris Georgiou as co-division head and will join the firm’s global Executive Team from 1 November 2021.

With experience spanning law, technology and operations, Goodier specialises in delivering innovative and technology-enabled legal solutions for clients and is a “key driver” of the firm’s NewLaw transformation.

Ashurst Advance was launched in 2016, servicing Ashurst’s global client base from its innovative global delivery hubs in Glasgow and Brisbane.

Ashurst Advance provides services across the full suite of NewLaw products and services including Advanced Delivery, Legal Managed Services, Digital, Legal Operations and Flexible Resourcing.

The Ashurst executive team is led by Global CEO Paul Jenkins and is comprised of the heads of the firm’s five divisions, Corporate, Finance Funds and Restructuring, Projects and Real Estate, Strategic Advisory and Ashurst Advance, as well as the firm’s regional heads for APAC and EMEA and global business services leaders.

Over the last 12 months, Ashurst Advance’s revenue has grown by over 50%.
