Ince Group FY21 revenues top £100m

Despite the jump in revenues, the group saw operating profit decline 59.2% to £3.1m for the year ended 31 March 2021

The Ince Group, an international legal and professional services firm, has reported a 4% year-on-year revenue increase to £100.2m in FY21.

Despite the jump in revenues, the group saw operating profit decline 59.2% to £3.1m for the year ended 31 March 2021.

While Ince declared no dividend for the financial year, it did commit to declare a dividend alongside the announcement of its results to 30 September 2021.

Adrian Biles, chief executive at the company, said: “I am pleased with these results and the progress being made, despite the impact of Covid.

“Our new offices and our Asian and EMEA offices have all achieved significant growth in the period. The UK has been held back but as the restrictions ease and the courts resume normal service, the UK will return to growth.”

Looking ahead, the group has reinstated its guidance of targeting revenue growth, lockup in the UK at 100 days, and operating profit before non-underlying costs of 10%.

Biles added: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful team for their hard work and support during this particularly challenging period. This is a people business and they have been magnificent.

“The group is now soundly financed and I am confident of a return to dividends in 2022.”
