The Mishcon de Reya Group has announced the appointment of Matt Hotson as the firm’s new group CFO designate in what is a new role for the group.
In his new role, Hotson will work closely with Kevin Gold, executive chair of the Mishcon de Reya Group, along with the group’s senior leadership.
Hotson is an experienced senior finance leader, and he joins from credit and asset management firm Arrow Global Group.
Prior to that, Hotson held the role of a CFO at multinational insurance company RSA Insurance Group Limited, formerly Royal and Sun Alliance.
Additionally, he has also held senior positions at Legal and General, and Cable and Wireless.
Gold said: “Matt has a wealth of experience and proven track record in leading finance strategy for large listed companies, particularly during periods of change.
“His expertise in navigating the markets is critical for us and we are already benefiting from his guidance thanks to the forensic way in which he has immersed himself in our business.”
