Morrison Foerster London employees to be fully vaccinated before returning to office

The international firm said it plans to reopen its London site on Monday 13 September 2021 with the requirement that employees will have to wear a mask in common areas and continue practising social distancing

Morrison Foerster law firm has revealed that it has made the decision to require anyone going into the London office to be fully vaccinated before they can return to work.

The international firm said it plans to reopen its London site on 13 September 2021 with the requirement that employees will have to wear a mask in common areas and continue practising social distancing.

A spokesman for the firm said: “We are adopting a phased return, with lawyers and trainee solicitors in each practice group expected to work from the London office on one core day per week from 13 September; this will be in addition to any other day(s) that each individual lawyer/trainee may choose to spend in the office.

“Anticipated office attendance is expected to increase to two core days per week from 18 October, subject to an ongoing review of our working plans. London staff attendance will be determined to meet business needs, and we will provide flexibility to work remotely as we are able to.”
