Pinsent Masons appoints technology transformation partner

In her new role, she will focus on the transactional side of TMT by advising clients on digital transformation projects and complex software and technology procurements

Pinsent Masons has appointed Ruby Khnom as its new technology transformation (TMT) partner in London, where she will strengthen two of the firm’s key sectors: technology science and industry, and financial services.

In her new role, Khnom will focus on the transactional side of TMT by advising clients on digital transformation projects and complex software and technology procurements.

With previous experience working with technology supplier businesses, Khnom will expand the firm’s capabilities with clients in this area, as well as helping to support financial services organisations throughout their technology transformation journeys.

Simon Colvin, head of TMT, said: “Ruby’s appointment adds significant bench strength to our team and will help us to develop further in our key strategic focus areas – FS and tech supplier advisory work. Having worked with a number of leading international technology organisations, we have several pipeline projects in which we are excited to involve Ruby.

“At the same time, our Pinsent Masons platform provides Ruby with a great opportunity to broaden the offering to clients, showcasing our global sector approach and our depth of expertise in technology, regulatory, information law, and cyber breach services.”

Florian von Baum, head of the technology, science & industry (TSI) sector, said: “Across our multinational network we have a range of experts in cyber, data and technology, working together to advise our clients as they seek to maximise opportunities in these areas.

“With her deep understanding of the technology landscape, Ruby will play a leading role in advising our clients on key areas impacting them both now and in the future. She is a fantastic addition to the TSI and financial services sectors.”
