DAC Beachcroft announces new partner hire

Prior to her appointment, Senior was a partner leading the Clinical Negligence team at Capsticks

International law firm DAC Beachcroft has announced the appointment of Emily Senior to its health sector practice.

Senior joins DAC Beachcroft from Capsticks, where she was a partner leading the Clinical Negligence team in Leeds.

In her new role, Senior will be working in DAC Beachcroft’s health and social care sector.

She has experience in matters relating to clinical risk, maternity incidents and the Early Notification Scheme for NHS trusts and NHS Resolution.

Senior’s hire follows on from that of partner David Roberts, who joined DAC Beachcroft’s team based in Leeds in April, also joining from Capsticks.

DAC Beachcroft provides practical support to independent and public sector healthcare clients to assist them in delivering “high-quality, safe patient care”.

Nigel Montgomery, head of health at DAC Beachcroft, said: “I am delighted to welcome a partner of Emily’s calibre to our market-leading health sector team.

“This appointment sees us continue to grow and develop our team for the future, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of the market with both the capacity and capability to deliver our clients’ ambitions as they move into a period of strategic change.”

Senior said: “I am delighted to be joining the team at DACB at such an exciting time of growth and development.

“The breadth of expertise offered by the firm and the depth of experience to date within the health and insurance sectors offer a wealth of opportunities to support existing clients and for further strategic growth in the future. I am thrilled to be part of such a high calibre health and social care team.”
