Doerr specialises in all areas of public and human rights law, with a focus on immigration and asylum law and challenges based on the Equality Act

Garden Court Chambers has welcomed Eva Doerr as its new tenant.

Doerr specialises in all areas of public and human rights law, with a focus on immigration and asylum law and challenges based on the Equality Act.

She was first called to the Bar in 2019. Prior to joining the Bar, Doerr worked for over four years on a wide range of immigration and public law matters at Laura Devine Immigration solicitors.

She also regularly appears before immigration tribunals and the administrative court and has particular expertise in retained EU law post Brexit and refugee family reunion in Europe. In addition, she accepts instructions in protest, employment and equality cases.

Having built on her past experience and her refugee law knowledge in the context of the global movement of people, she is now a trustee of Refugee Legal Support which runs pro bono legal clinics in Athens and the UK. She is also part of a three-person team overseeing RLS casework in the UK.
