Lawrence Stephens has appointed Gareth Hughes to lead its Private Wealth and Succession Planning practice.
With over 18 years’ experience in the industry, Hughes is a private client expert with specialist knowledge and expertise in acting to protect and preserve the wealth of his private clients.
Previously, Hughes was a partner and head of Wealth Preservation at Greenwoods GRM LLP. He has also held partnerships at Silverman Sherliker LLP, Laytons LLP, Rollingsons Solicitors Limited and Bowling and Co Solicitors.
Hughes reportedly acts for HNWIs based both in the UK and internationally, advising on the preparation of complex wills, probate administration, tax and estate planning, trust creation and administration. He also advises on personal welfare matters that require applications to the Court of Protection and drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney.
