The incoming president of the Law Society of Scotland has pledged to bring his perspective as a chamber solicitor to the role, in contrast to litigators who have held the role before him.

Murray Etherington formally took over the role of president from Ken Dalling at a recent meeting of the Society’s governing Council, while Sheila Webster became vice president.
