CBA to issue ballot papers on criminal legal aid action

Next Monday (28 February) each CBA member will receive a ballot paper that the CBA chair said offers a ‘clear choice’

The Criminal Bar Association (CBA) has announced it is set to send out papers next week that will spell out actions available over the government’s inaction to expedite its timetable on criminal legal aid reform.

It comes after the CBA gave the Secretary of State Dominic Raab until 14 February to give assurances that he would deliver his response to the CLAR and complete any necessary consultation by the end of March.
